The idea behind the Khitmah is to allow people from all over the world to get together and enjoy reading Quran. Not only that, they will feel the greatness of sharing a khitmah with people they do not know who are gathered for the sake of ALLAH only. The khitmah idea is about finishing a complete lecture of the 30 parts of the holy book while everyone gets the 'Ajr' of the Part that he/she reads inshallah.

Steps to follow:

1. The Holy Quran is divided into 30 parts.
2. Choose which part you would like to read.
3. Sign up for that part on Khitmah.com
4. On your own (or with a friend, or a Quran recording tape, etc...), read the part.
5. You have 3 days to finish your reserved part. If you can not finish your part in a week, your name will be removed from the table so that someone else can read the part that you have reserved.
6. Usually a part would take around 1 hour ,we give you a week to finish it.
7. When you finish reading the part, please go back to Khitmah.com and sign in that you finished
